The current spacer plate design uses a flat head screw. Revise the design to use a allen head cap screw and lock washer to fasten the spacer plate to the steam chest. Install two dowel pins to locate the spacer to the steam chest as well fastener that tends to be weak and break off just under the head. Also, the design relies on the fasteners to locate the spacer to the steam chest. The hole in the spacer needs to be a through hole with interference fit and the hole in the steam chest should be clearance fit.
