In the left side corestick file ang01679 there is a thin core section through which iron is burning causing a significant scrap and salvage issue. The section is currently 3.3 - 4.1 mm thick. The core section thickness needs to be increase to about 12 mm. The drag insert will have to be modified accordingly. The cover insert will require stock removal, however, be sure to check the blowtubes and venting as the change is developed as this change must be incorporated into existing equipment. Update all associated tooling models. See attached picture.
