1) The counter bore depths for the SHCS that hold the screw pin retainers are to shallow on the 'EF' lower cover plate. This will allow vents to drop, especially if retainer & vent heights are slightly under nominal. To ensure hold down fasteners always engage retainer, deepen counter bores by 1.0mm, 28 places. 2) To the 'EF' lower core box assembly, add missing 5/16”-18 jam nuts & 5/16” high collar lock washers to assembly, 28 places. 3) Add relief machining to nylon strip pin bushings so that fasteners, retainers, & vents can easily be removed without having to remove bushings (6 places). 4) To the 'EF' lower core box assembly, replace SHCS that hold retainers with 10-24 x ½” L Slotted Pan head screws & replace SHCS that hold nylon strip pin bushings with 5/16” x 3/4” L Slotted Pan head screws.
