Dimensional control is requesting that the JET and KFT slab core assemblies be shifted outboard on the core package based on the lastest casting dimensional data. The cylinder bores are centered, however the tappet and water jacket features need to be shifted outboard relative to the cylinder bores. Bore wall thickness data from casting cutups support the change also. Update the JK lower inserts by adding 0.5 mm material to the inboard side of the square crankcase coreprints and removing 0.3mm material from the outboard side. This only applies to the 917, replacing CT03806.
