In the effort to duplicate the seal that Massena mold plates have, all of SMCO's mold tools that do not have side or end slides should have this Massena style seal in the lower mold plates, CAVITY SIDE ONLY, NOT THE BACK SIDE OF THE MOLD PLATES. SMCO desires to have the Massena style seal that Jack Smith provided at a St. Catharines design review on July 25, 2007 to avoid any "blow-by" in the mold cavity.
