After an L850 Block Unloader Design Review on Tuesday, 30OC07, with Ted Lee, John Keys, Steve Gromak, Dave Skornia, and Gregg Noga in attendance, The decision was made to modify the 'Gating/Sprue' lower mold plate with a flat surface on the inside of the sprue foam to allow a B-15 sized piab enough surface to "suck the foam." This revision will allow for three flat areas on the foam. No or minimal fill or cating impact is expected.
