While TEI was final assembling the 'D/E' mold tooling (07MR08), an interference was discovered with both 'E' cast cover plates to the center gibb rails. TEI took the liberty to cut out a clearance "window" to keep the critical 'D/E' mold tool delivery on track. SMCO needs to review the interference and cut in the clearance "window" for all future equipments. Take into consideration what TEI has done on the "fly", but SMCO may want to review the issue in more detail for adequet clearance.
