On the E/F jacket equipment, support stack posts were added to prevent the jacket boxes from warping, a condition experienced on the initial tooling. These posts have prevented the boxes from warping but the posts have created a condition where there are multiple locating surfaces that interfere with each other. The posts are built to zero and the corebox partings are built to zero. If the posts kiss before the partings do, a fin will result on the core. This is the condition that is being seen on the coreboxes. Machine .010" from the bottoms of the support stack posts, 4 posts per corebox. This will allow the partings to be the primary locating surface and will still prevent the coreboxes from warping.
