In order to cube blocks at Nemak and premachine at G & S; the AA,BB, & CC locators will have to be machined to square the parts up. Currently the AA,BB, & CC locators are not being used at EAS. EAS uses a different locating system. The AA,BB, & CC locators were used on the Gen3 block. On one IBCC tool, add 3mm to the AA,BB, & CC locators in plastic. All the locators are located in the drawbacks. This will provide stock for the locators to be machined at Nemak. See attached for location. This should be done to one of the following Eq# 0,8,9,or 11. This tool will be sampled and the castings will be followed as a group through CMI and then Nemak and G & S.
