1) Lightener pockets on front & rear end of casting are difficult to draw out of core box. Results are lighteners breaking off cores, which ends up as excess metal in casting. Revise side walls of these lighteners to have a 4deg draft and modify depths as well as blend(s) as noted on attached. 2) Rear of casting valley is difficult to draw out of pattern. Result is a sand sticker which ends up as excess metal in casting. Revise draft on rear wall of valley from 5deg to 10deg & increase floor radius from 5mm to 10mm.
