Castings are being scrapped due to porosity in oil filter bowl. Oil Filter Bowl porosity specification is 2mm from the bottom of the thread. Pin gages can not reach the bottom of thread. Create a gage to measure the depth of porosity from the bottom of the thread. Use this gage to check suspect castings at the customer. See attached powerpoint. Reduce the amount of castings scrapped due to this issue. ( Put in the Leak test fixture tooling component list because there was no catagory for gages)
