PLEASE MODIFTY CURRENT PRODUCT MODELS AND DRAWINGS TO REFLECT CURRENT PRODUCTION SHAPE (PRINT LIKE PART) (SEE ATTACHEMENT). IN THE CASE OF THE CAST OUTBOARD OIL DRAIN BOSSES, THE CASTING TOOLING HAD BEEN MODIFED TO \'LOAD UP\' THE OIL DRAIN WALLS BY 0.060\' (1.5 MM) IN ORDER TO INSURE ADEQUATE WALL THICKNESS. THIS WAS DONE IN THE CASTING TOOLING ONLY AND THE PRODUCT MODEL WAS NOT UPDATED WITH THIS DONE FOR FUNCTION CHANGE (SEE ATTACHMENT). ALSO THE WATER JACKET TO CAM WALL THICKNESS SHOULD BE EXAMINED WITH REGARD TO THE CASTING TOOLING SO MAKE SURE THE PRODUCT MODEL REFLECTS THE SHAPE BEING PRODUCED. THESE CHANGES HAVE BEEN IN THE TOOLING SINCE 2006 (FIRST YEAR DEFIANCE BEGAN PRODUCING THE 6.6L BLOCK). IN OTHER WORDS, THIS EXCERCISE IS TO MAKE PRINT LIKE PART, SO THE SHAPE THAT WAS MACHINED BY DMAX AND VALIDATED FOR 2007i MY AND 2010i MY IS FULLY SPECIFIED IN CURRENT PRODUCT MODELS AND DRAWINGS. REASON: MAKE PRINT LIKE PART This overrides previous CT04613 and put stock back into casting as a product change, not a Defiance process change. Requires updating water jacket corebox tooling & defin plates.
