Per Dave Goettsch's email dated 02MY13: "WB currently puts release agent on the sprue blocks to ease exhaust and intake slide retraction. It is not know whether the increase draft in the side pour gating will eliminate need for this mold release application. The HFV6 gating has a higher parting line which effectively hold the gating in place during slide retraction. The feed back from WB is very positive on this design feature. Can this type of contoured parting line be incorporated into the new sprue blocks and pour bridge for the side pour SGE?" See the attached for the change description.
