Lifting bails at Defiance intermittently interfere with stool ribs when clamped up. This is due to variation in the castings from stool to stool. Add clearance cut machining to the (2) outboard ribs on both locating and elongated ends of stool. Clearance cut to be 7/8” deep from outside edge of stool, 1-1/2” down from underside of mold parting frame, and across full width of rib floor radii.
