A reverse bow needs to be cut into the mold ot counteract the thermal distortion of the tool, this is also an opportunity to enact other changes. 1. Update the Carrier to model 84045938/004.0004. 2. Add 3rd cooling circuit to center inserts (offset to bushing side). 3. Cut the parting and cavity distortion into the side slides based on both the measured flash thickness and the FEA analysis. 4. Add interlocking parting dams to the side slides. 5. Add draft to the bottom of the lifting lugs (currently 5 degrees, target 7-10). 6. Tighten up the clearance between the base insert and the side slides on some vertical partings to reduce flash. 7. Add a cooling line and a thermocouple to each side slide between the cavities.
