Maintenance struggles to get the lower T-core tamp plate definner properly aligned and not scuffing cores. This is due to the lack of precision machining/manufacturing of the definner conveyor frame mounting holes. Additional adjustability is needed to properly mount & align tamp plates assembles onto the CB116 & CB122 lifter core definner conveyor frame. Revise (4) corner mounting holes from 9/16” diameter holes to 5/8” wide x 1-1/8” long slots. Plug existing (2) dowel holes & machine in new location 1-1/2” from old. Conveyor frame will be match drilled to new dowel hole locations once tamp plate assemblies are proper aligned.
