Defiance is experiencing PCV to intake port core thin walls along with W-pad gauge rejects. To address both of these issues make the following process changes (PA11): 1) Add/Remove stock to shift O-core prints in T-core 0.5mm inboard (this is to re-adjust for PA8 top core shift, retargeting PCV openings & aid thin wall condition). 2) Add 0.7mm stock (flat) to O-core cavities (ref. TCR30361). This is to address thin wall condition between PCV passage and top of intake port opening. 3) Adjust CC insert heights on mold 3, 4, 5, 6 as outlined in attachment. 4) Reduce stainless shim underneath both I-core support buttons from 0.3mm to 0.2mm. (ref. TCR 29893). Was 0.3mm in PA10 - CT08066. 5) Add/Remove to shift O-core print in rear slide toward exhaust by 0.5mm. Be sure to maintain 1.5mm clearance around O-core print (ref. PA10 - CT08066). 6) Add/Remove stock to shift O-core print in intake slide toward exhaust by 0.5mm. Be sure to maintain 3.0mm clearance cross-car to O-core (ref. PA10 - CT08066). Be sure to maintain 2.0mm clearance around O-core (ref. PA10 - CT08066).
