1) Defiance experiencing a high amount of tar build up in the rear exhaust side zone of mold. This is thought to be the result of gas. To address this, add (3) M10 x 0.5mm slotted steel vents in the bottom face of the spring deck core print of base mold. Machining for vents to be for punching with a .004” press fit and a 16mm diameter backside bleed hole. REVISE ALL OTHER EXISTING BASE MOLD VENT MACHINING TO HAVE A .004” PRESS FIT. Lastly, the bottom face of this pocket was found to have the incorrect core to mold clearance @ 1.25mm. Add 0.75mm stock to correct clearance to 0.5mm. 2) Defiance also experiences lower water jacket front and rear leg core break issues due to tar build up. Add a 1.0mm additional clearance (on rad) to these water jacket leg mold core prints. 3) Increase spray opening of (2) pockets by 1.0mm along perimeter to accommodate revision to base mold.
